I spent about two years studying in Vancouver, Canada, and lived in Arizona, USA, for three years.
During my time in the United States, I served as a liaison for a Japanese company, primarily focusing on purchasing and sourcing operations.
I also spent six months in France working as a buyer.
These experiences gave me firsthand insight into Western business mindsets, international communication styles, and the importance of understanding cultural differences when building successful relationships.
In addition, through years of supporting international visitors in Japan, I have developed a strong ability to understand the expectations, concerns, and challenges foreigners face when navigating Japanese culture and business environments.
I specialize not only in translation, but in understanding the “unspoken” aspects of Japan — the cultural nuances, communication styles, and practical considerations that often determine success.
